Our air purifier does not have an ozone function. It continuously filters the ambient air with an H14 HEPA filter with an efficiency of 99.995%. The filters are cleaned with the help of UVC light;

Air Purification Description


G4 filter

Coarse   particles   are filtered out to extend the service life of the precision filters.

F7 filter

It is used to achieve precise filtration and extend the service life of the Hepa filter.

HEPA filter

An H14 HEPA filter is used, which filters pollutants such as dust, viruses, bacteria and smoke from the air with an efficiency of 99.995 %. HEPA filters offer the highest possible air quality.

Direct influence: Large pollutants such as certain dusts, moulds and pollen move in a straight line, collide with a fibre and adhere to it.

Sieving: The air flow carries a particle between two fibres, but the particle is larger than the gap so that it is trapped.

Collection: The airflow is mobile enough to be directed around the fibres, but thanks to the inertia, the particles continue on their way and get stuck on the sides of the fibres.

Diffusion: Small, ultrafine particles move more irregularly than larger ones, so they are more likely to hit and stick to the fibres.

How do UVC rays affect microbes?

Microorganisms are simple organic structures that easily absorb the UV-C wavelength. The DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) of a microbe is affected due to its weak molecular bonds. Irreparable damage to the DNA occurs within a few seconds. The loss of the microbe’s genetic instructions means that the microbe dies and/or can no longer reproduce.

Which microbes are affected by UV light?

Germicidal UV rays are very effective against almost all germs/microorganisms, including all viruses, bacteria, allergens and asthma-triggering fungi and toxic mould spores.

Do air purifiers with HEPA filters catch viruses?

HEPA H14 filters remove 99.995% of particles with a size of 0.3 micrometres and above. Although some particles (such as COVID-19 and H1N1 influenza viruses) bypass the filter, some of them stick to the filters due to the charged magnetic effect of the fibres of the HEPA filters.

The coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, is mainly transmitted by virus-containing droplets or virus particles suspended in the air. Aerosols are spread into the environment by a person infected with the coronavirus when speaking, breathing, coughing or sneezing.

Large aerosols spread in the environment and infect surfaces or objects. People who touch infected objects can become infected if they put their hands to their mouth, nose or eyes.

Small aerosols can remain in the air for up to 3 hours in closed rooms with insufficient air circulation. People who breathe in this environment can also become infected.
